Meet Dr. Amber Faul

The veterinarian behind
Eternal Embrace

With 14 years of experience in practice, I’ve dedicated my career to caring for pets and supporting the families who love them. I am a licensed veterinarian in both Illinois and Indiana, providing compassionate in-home pet euthanasia across the south and southwest Chicago suburbs and northwest Indiana.

Alongside my work as a relief veterinarian, I felt called to provide a more personal service for pets in their final moments: compassionate care and pet euthanasia.

A Lifelong Love for Animals

My love for animals started early. I grew up visiting my grandparents’ farm where animals were part of daily life, and I learned the value of caring for them with kindness and respect.

These experiences shaped not only my career choice but also my belief that pets deserve the same peace and dignity at the end of their lives as they do throughout their lives.

Veterinary Experience and Training

After earning my veterinary degree, I worked in various clinical settings that allowed me to gain extensive experience in general practice. I am licensed to practice in both Illinois and Indiana, allowing me to support families across state lines with the same standard of compassionate, professional care.

Over the years, I have pursued certifications in Fear Free practices and specialized training in peaceful end-of-life care. These credentials reflect my commitment to ensuring that every pet’s experience with compassionate care and pet euthanasia is gentle and that every family feels supported.

Why Eternal Embrace Was Founded

Traditional veterinary clinics are often busy, noisy, and rushed. While clinics are wonderful places for routine care, they can feel overwhelming when the time comes to say goodbye.

I founded Eternal Embrace to offer a better option: compassionate pet euthanasia at home, where pets are most comfortable and families can grieve in peace.

Our Mission: Pain-Free, Peaceful End-of-Life Care

At Eternal Embrace, our mission is simple: to provide compassionate care, pet euthanasia, and pain-free, peaceful end-of-life care for pets and their owners. This means more than just medical expertise. It means compassion, respect, and understanding for both pets and their families across Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Every appointment includes small, thoughtful touches, such as paw prints or nose prints, and keepsake stones for children to serve as reminders that your pet’s memory is cherished.

What Families Can Expect from Compassionate In-Home Pet Euthanasia

When you invite me into your home, you can expect a calm and gentle process, focused entirely on your pet and your family. Together, we create a serene space free from stress, allowing your pet to pass peacefully in familiar surroundings.

You’ll never feel rushed. Instead, you’ll have time for goodbyes, for holding your pet close, and for finding comfort in knowing their final moments are filled with love.
